About Health Edge
Health Edge is an independent intelligence platform for the European Health Data Space. It exists because the people making real decisions in this space — health ministry officials, health tech founders, pharma executives, researchers — deserve better information infrastructure than scattered PDFs and conference slides.
The EHDS is the most consequential health data regulation in history. By 2029, it connects 500 million citizens across 27 Member States into a unified framework for sharing and using electronic health data. The complexity is enormous. The information available to navigate it is not.
Health Edge fixes that with three things: a live readiness tracker scoring all 27 Member States across six dimensions, a curated news feed covering the developments that matter, and sharp analysis from a practitioner perspective — not a journalist perspective, not an academic perspective.
Who is behind this
Health Edge is built by a practitioner — someone who has built cloud architecture for healthcare enterprises across the EMEA region and understands the distance between regulatory intent and operational reality. The editorial voice comes from inside the implementation process, not from covering it.
What this is not
Health Edge is not affiliated with the European Commission, any EU institution, or any government body. It is not a news aggregator. It is not a policy advocacy platform. The tracker scores are based on publicly verifiable sources, not self-reported data from Member States.
